Story Builder: L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library Expansion

The Story Builder is a capital campaign led by Eau Claire’s L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library to raise $7 million in private funding, augmenting a $11.5 million city investment, for a comprehensive expansion completed in 2022. The project adds a third-floor event space, modern study rooms, an expanded STEAM-focused makerspace (“Dabble Box”) and innovation lab, redesigned shelving, a drive-up pickup window, geothermal energy systems, and upgraded ventilation for health and sustainability.
